For my presentation to be successful, I really thought about different ways to make my lesson more interactive and light hearted considering that it was about quite a serious topic that most people don't find interesting. I included a few videos to show that were mainly quite humorous, especially the one I showed in the lesson by Laci Green, who tries to make topics like feminism more inclusive and less political or aggressive. I also made sure to include some images so that the powerpoint wasn't too bland and I started my presentation off by talking to my classmates and getting them to question the field and what they knew. It was quite difficult to make such a complicated topic light hearted and fun but I think that I succeeded.
